- Flatten all plastic containers to save space.
- Do not put broken glass or drinking glasses in containers.
- Nest containers with the blue bin on the bottom, the white bin on the middle and the
heavier yellow bin on the top to avoid "blow-away" in windy weather.

Support for recycling programs has been demonstrated at the state, county and city levels.
We are pleased to provide this service and have made every effort to give you a convenient
and effective recycling opportunity.
Please nest bins together to prevent blow-away. Place full bins at curbside by 7:00 am
on collection day,
Recycling bins remain the property of Pullman Disposal Service. If you are moving or
discontinuing services, please call 334-1914.
HOW RECYCLING HELPS OUR ENVIRONMENT
Curbside collection has become commonplace in communities all across America. As a
result, millions of tons of Recyclables have been diverted from landfills and made in to
reusable products.
DID YOU KNOW...
More than 50% of the materials in your garbage are recyclable.
In Washington State, residents generated more than five million tons of solid waste in
one year. Enough to cover four lanes of I-90 about six feet deep from Seattle to Spokane!
Altogether, Americans throw out 160 million tons of garbage each year, enough to bury
27,000 football fields in a layer of garbage 20 feet deep.
